-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for patent disclosure:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

AR: Mike check status of JEITA response document
- Mike showed this document.
- We decided this would be updated online

AR: Mike invite Walter Katz to talk about measurements BIRDs
- Mike has asked Walter Katz again, waiting for reply

New items:

Kim said that his LSI email would soon be going dead.

Continued review of the IQ specification:

Mike asked which I/V tables the IBIS golden parser sums into combined curves.
- Bob: Parser sums pull* + clamps + submodel
- Does not consider [Driver Schedule]

5.3.6.	{LEVEL 3} [POWER Clamp] voltage sweep range is correct
- Mike: What number is used as "VCC" for [GND Clamp] and [Pulldown]?
  - Should be [POWER Clamp Reference] for [GND Clamp], [Pullup] for [Pulldown]
  - [Voltage Range] if those are not present.
- Mike: We have a convention that tables must extend from -VCC to +2VCC
  - Do we use the max VCC for this?
  - Bob: The convention applies to typical V only
- Bob: 2*VCC was chosen because T-line effects would cause voltage doubling
  - In practice it does not happen.
- Bob: The IBIS spec should have specified that ALL curves go -vcc to +2*vcc
- IBIS specifies that [GND Clamp] extends from -VCC to +VCC
  - Old TTL had a 1mA wiggle around 0V
  - Mike: s2ibis implements exactly what IBIS recommends.
- Moshiul: We should consider how ODT affects this
- We decided to remove all language not related to voltage range from
these checks, and made the change "live".
  - Other considerations are documented a few checks later:
    - non-monotonic curves
    - extrapolation conventions

5.3.7.	{LEVEL 3} [GND Clamp] voltage sweep range is correct
- Same changes made here.

AR: Mike send updated IQ 1.1ad document

Next meeting:
